I am wondering if the sentence below is in proper English?

” Julien & I were asked today by Amazon to close our Facebook account because it
contains the words ” Kindle“. Before deleting the account, I will post tomorrow morning a thank you and goodbye message.”

That is more correct. You had an antecedent not set off by commas before, a double quotation inside of a quotation and a syntax error, but everything should be fine now. I am not a grammarian though, so I’m not 100% certain.

Well, this would be better

Today Amazon asked Julien and I to close our Facebook account because it contains the word “Kindle“. Tomorrow morning I will post a “thank you and goodbye” message before closing the account.

I would suggest:

Upon waking today, Julien and I were quite content: looking forward to a productive day clattering away at the keys that open gateways to human contact in the modern age. Keen to set aside those all too real conversations with each other, where our close proximity had come to grate us both as of late. Of course I mean to say, we were keen to Facebook. Unbeknownst to us however, a tempestuous storm was brewing.

As we doted upon our coffees in silence like a couple of old maids, the Amazonian storm began to roll in. I still remember when these morning coffees kindled the lust that had, in the pre-facebook years, defined our lesbian romance! But those days are past us now, as we have expanded our horizons using the power of social media. But I cease to digress for the pertinent bit is upon us! Having dared to mention the word “Kindle” in our most recent Facebook discourse, the Amazonians beset upon us- in the midst of morning java no less- and rent us of our Facebook accounts! Rent us of the social fabric we had worked so hard to weave using the better part of our time at the office!

And so, it is with great dimay that tomorrow we shall deliver a most solemn farewell, wiith good tidings, to our digital companions. Truly it was a bittersweet experience.
